Responsibilities include: building a relationship and listening to users, learning and practicing social and racial justice, managing the design system, staying on brand, using figma to create wireframes, prototypes, synthesized data from user research, and facilitating the design to development hand-off.

Neuflect / UX/UI Designer

February 2021 - July 2021, Remote

Contract position working to bring Neuflect’s Frame app to life. Created wireframes, designed lofi to hifi screens, conducted user research, moderated remote user testing, created and organized a design system component library, synthesized data from user research, and facilitated design handoff to development.

Teacher's Assistant for a Product Design Bootcamp. Supports the teacher, and students while grading weekly projects and case studies. Provides guidance, and emotional support to 32-48 students to aid them in meeting the intense course requirements. Worked with students in the ideation process of application creation, user research, and prototyping. Assisted in the transition to a remote class from an in-person one.

Santa Clara Libraries / Library Assistant

Assist patrons with their research needs, as well as recommending library materials, and resources. Teaching basic technology literacy to non-digital natives. Updating calendar, and catalogues.

Refugee Center Online / Development & Grant Writing Intern

Working from a remote location, directly with the RCO's Executive Director and Board on development activities for organizational growth. Write grant proposals, plan and execute fundraising events, connect with donors, manage social media platforms, marketing, and contribute to the growth of the Refugee Center Online.
